The cruise line industry is booming. After a brief lul a few years back, cruise lines are once again on a huge building spree. In 2008 there are nine cruise ships scheduled to launch. All nine of these new scheduled cruise ships are going to be mega cruise ships, each carrying over 2,000 cruise passengers. The first of these new ships is scheduled to come out in February 2008, when Norwegian Cruise Lines launches its mega cruise ship the Norwegian Jade.
